This Fish Fighter Quick Release 8×7 Rod Riser Extends Out 8″ and Up 7″ Our Fish Fighter Series of Quick Release Rod Risers were designed with the help of our Pro Staffers Austin Moser and Cody Herman, these guys fish several hundred days a year and really know what works and will hold up to day after day fishing. Both of those guys want to have total control of Fishing Rod Placement on their boat. They also want to be able to stagger Rod heights and Rod widths when trolling to help increase the spread of our gear. I personally wanted my Fish Rod Extenders to get the Rods out to the side of my Boat further. By having Extended Rod Holders, I am able to move the Rods out, and in a sense, widen my boat. By moving the Rod Holders out, you also don’t have Rod Buts sticking out in the boat that gets in the way when fighting a fish.
