The Geko Alpine is designed to keep the hands protected and warm even in the nastiest conditions while still delivering a high level of precision and climbing performance. It has been purpose-built to deliver the right levels of protection, warmth, performance and durability for big routes in cold places. The elongated wrists are designed to be tensioned over the jacket to keep weather out and warmth in. The Open-Close system is easy to operate while wearing gloves and a Velcro strap at the wrist helps keep the glove in position on the hand. Warmth is guaranteed by the differentiated insulation with PrimaLoft Gold 133 g/m2 on the back and PrimaLoft Gold Grip Control 100 g/m2 on the palm. PrimaLoft Gold Grip palm insulation combines with seamless Box Finger construction for a high level of sensitivity and secure grip on tools. The DRYZONE waterproof/breathable membrane creates a waterproof barrier and the goatskin palms are designed for intensive use.
